Rawae : Fantasy Stationery

Hi!

The racket they caused in the house was nerve-wrecking. For the billionth time, I sprung from my couch to pull the raged kindergarteners apart.

No matter what activity I plan for them, indoors, they get over it in less than 15 minutes, and we are back to the grind. We, either, land on PS4 or turn our house into Jurassic World. There is no in-between. So now, here we are, at our favorite outdoor (indoor) play area at Amwaj Mall.

Fantasy Stationaries!

It’s one of the most interactive play areas I have come across. As a mother of 3 kindergartners, i prefer clean, secure yet intriguing play zones. This place, ranges from art work to chocolate making to rock climbing.

Fantasy Stationeries has 9 different play zones. One place where mothers and fathers can take few minutes to sip away their hot cup of tea/coffee while their child is engaged in one of the segregated play zones.

The zones are:

  • Shooting gallery
  • Art works
  • The Sandy Beach
  • Bumper Boats
  • T-shirt painting
  • The Little Cook
  • Mom & I
  • Stuff my own Doll
  • Rock climbing

The best feature about Fantasy Stationeries is that there is a female prayer room and well-maintained restrooms.

You can drop your child in their favorite room for 20 minutes top. Each room has a dedicated caretaker, a referee for children. So safe it is.

The place has 2 party halls, accommodating 40 children in one package, along with food and beverages. The care takers will take the children around each play area. Hence, giving you a tension-free party. Helping hands matter a lot! Even if it is one pair!

And if you are in mood for groceries, you can hop down to panda, leaving the kids with fathers, of course! 🙄😁

Adding on to the attractions of Fantasy Stationeries, their water park is a summer hit! Once you get the ticket, you can stay in for as long as you like. They have facilitated their customers with an in-house restaurant, lockers, showers and changing rooms. Parents or guardians can stay at bleachers.

Well, I have to run along to Panda while my kids are busy shooting balls. You guys plan a day at Amwaj Mall.

Oh! Not to forget the cozy, kids-friendly, Cafe Bene! Their blueberry yoghurt bread is worth the try. Sign up with their loyalty programs, and enjoy a vast range of daily offers. Who doesn’t love a free cup of coffee with cake

Here it is…

Wait for it…

Oh wow! Love.love.love.

Alright, see you next time.

Ciao!

CHāDOR

Hi there reader,

Lately, it hit me that I can’t be seen abbaya-less in public yet I do not want to drape my self with extra layers of clothing in the scorching heat of Gulf.

While discussing this with my friends, we agreed on a plan to launch our own line of apparels. Chādor is a Farsi word for an outer garment, of females, without buttons. It’s like a drape, a chaddar, as we would say it in Urdu. The first thought that rushes to you on the word is ‘women’.

But did anyone actually think about what women go through under that drape?! Ohtheheat! Anyhow, here we are, with our summer, cool-to-eye, prints of chādor! Hoping to launch ourselves by the end of this month.

Stay tuned for the showcase at our open house event.

Next time I travel, I am sure, I will be comfortably wearing my jeans and a tank top under my chādor. 😉

What do you like to wear when you travel? Leave your thoughts and views below.

P.s. I will soon be posting about our line of interest, mostly apparels and loomed work.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
